PORT OF CANNES is an advanced watercolor technique painting demonstration. I invite you to join me in my studio as I paint this wonderful view of the port of Cannes.
In this demonstration I want to bring forth the element of air that is so strongly present along the coast of Cannes. The smell of sea and the strong wind make for an incredible experience, especially for someone who never lived near the sea.
While the primary subject of my painting is the port and the big boats docked there, the secondary subject is the wind and the less tangible effects of the area. I use wet into wet wash to convey these feelings and lots of blue, which by association brings forth the sea, water, wind and air.
Join me in this relaxing abstract watercolor painting demonstration and enjoy the good vibes of relaxing watercolor painting.
