CABIN BY THE SEA is an advanced watercolor technique painting demonstration. I invite you to join me in my studio as I paint this unassuming little cabin found along the eastern coast of Italy.
In this demonstration I focus on painting with a light touch. I start on wet paper which results in a very soft underpainting. I build on this foundation and as the paper dries, the edges of my washes are becoming more solid and refined. I make sure to use my hardest edges in areas where I want the viewer’s eye linger the most. Hard edges demand attention, while the soft edges let the eye move around more freely.
Join me in this relaxing abstract watercolor painting demonstration and enjoy the good vibes of this relaxing watercolor painting.
