FISHING VILLAGE is an advanced watercolor technique painting demonstration. I invite you to join me as I paint this exciting yet tranquil tropical village.
In this demonstration I paint with such ease that my painting session is almost meditative. I feel inner calm but also great excitement that only watercolor painting gives me.
I start my painting wet into wet and establish my foundation wash that is soft and dissolved, yet it divides the paper in a way that gives me clear indication where my successive shapes need to go. Notice that my color harmony is worked out in this first step. Once I dry the paper the rest is quite easy and almost paints itself. My middle value wash is connected throughout the painting. My middle value wash represents the shaded parts of my buildings.
Join me in this relaxing abstract watercolor painting demonstration and enjoy the good vibes of relaxing watercolor painting.
